Half Way

Lovely Soul,

Without quite noticing, we’ve arrived at the midpoint of the year.

This feels one of those moments quietly asking us to pause. Not to measure how much we’ve achieved or how far we’ve come, but to simply notice where we are.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we are still held by the energy of summer and the Fire element. Fire is associated with the Heart, considered not only a physical organ but the seat of the Shen – our spirit, consciousness, and deepest sense of who we are.

When the Heart is balanced, we experience clarity, joy, ease, and an authentic connection with ourselves and others. We can hear the quiet voice beneath the noise of everyday life, making choices that feel aligned rather than driven by habit or expectation.

This is why I find the midpoint of the year such a meaningful invitation. Before rushing into the months ahead, may we ask ourselves:

Am I moving in the direction my heart truly longs for?

What has been nourishing me?

What no longer belongs?

These questions don’t require immediate answers. Sometimes creating the space to ask them is enough.

Perhaps over the coming days, you might find a quiet place in nature, leave your phone behind for a while, and simply listen. Let the warmth of the season soften the mind and bring you back to the wisdom already within.

It is from this place that INNER HARVEST was born.

As of today, there are still two rooms available for our retreat in Greece this September. If you’ve been feeling drawn to spend a week immersed in yoga, nature, nourishing food, and meaningful connection, this may be the moment to follow that quiet nudge.

And if someone comes to mind as you read this, I’d be deeply grateful if you shared the invitation with them.

And for those of you based in Zürich, I’d love to welcome you in person.

I teach weekly Yin Yoga classes every Thursday evening at YOUNION Yoga, offering a space to slow down, restore, and reconnect amidst the rhythm of everyday life.

Alongside teaching, I also offer Shiatsu treatments — a deeply restorative bodywork practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that supports the body’s natural ability to find balance and ease.

If you’d like to book a treatment or simply learn more, you’re warmly invited to get in touch by replying to this email or writing to me directly.

A few sounds to accompany these summer days.

Thank you for being here. I’m grateful to be walking this passage alongside each other.

From my heart to yours,

Aida
